There are several ways to get to us from the airport:

• Taxi: They are safe, many accept credit cards. We’re in the heart of town, so the cost of the ride shouldn’t be more than 35€. You will be charged 5,50€ for leaving the airport, nothing can be charged for the baggage. Of course if you get stuck in a traffic jam, the cost can be higher
   

• Metro (Subway): Just 2,50€ the trip from/to the airport. It’s safe, it takes about 50 minutes to get to us. You have to change lines twice. I only recommend it if you have little or no baggage.

• Shuttle: They have fixed prices, so they won’t cheat you. Check their webpage http://www.aerocity.com/en
   

• Bus: Runs24h, and cost 2€ but its closest stop is 900 meters away and then all the way up. If you like to walk and you don’t have much baggage it can be a good idea. If you have a very early outgoing flight, then it’s the only cheap option to get to the airport. You have to pay the bus driver in cash. www.emtmadrid.es/lineaAeropuerto/index.html
